All our painted furniture is hand made to order by local craftsmen, we use a high quality knot free pine for everything except tables and the thick tops of dresser bases. The furniture is then carefully hand finished in our own workshops.
Special sizes are available on request for most of the items featured and we can design bespoke items if you have any specific requirements.
At Bells of Suffolk we prefer Farrow and Ball paints for a premium quality eco friendly finish, you can choose any colour from the Farrow and Ball range with which to have your furniture finished.
We are happy to accomodate your selection of other brands of paint, for example Fired Earth, Sandersons or Paint & Paper Library so you can easily coordinate the furniture to your room setting, we can provide advice before making your final choice.
When choosing the colour of knobs for drawers and doors, we offer painted or natural or dark beech as standard within the price of the furniture, other knobs are available and some of the images pictured have the customers own choice of knobs.

The insides of our cupboards, wardrobes and drawers are finished with a water based antique pine stain mixed with a durable eco friendly matt lacquer to give a wipe-clean finish. As shown to the right.
Please allow 10 to 12 weeks lead time for all furniture, however we will let you know as soon as your order is completed.
We can arrange delivery and will provide a quotation upon request, we use a local delivery firm for our furniture so the price will depend upon the distance from our shop, alternatively you can arrange your own collection.
