line the basket with sphagnum moss
(available from any good garden centre)
then add a black plastic lining (bin bag)
make a few holes for drainage
fill with compost to 5cm below the rim
plant with flowers or herbs
top up the compost and water well

we have a selection of ready planted baskets at the shop but regret that we cannot send the planted baskets
with the courier.
